Tom versus the Secret Society of Supervillains number seven, or come, grab a bite of this goulash?

Welcome back for the Secret Society of Supervillains number seven, the May June 1977 issue,

featuring a cover by Rich Buckler and Joseph Rubinstein.

Our story for today is Luther's

League of Supervillains, written by Bob Rosegis, pencil by Rich Buckler, inked by Bob Layton. Who

knows who did the rest? I did it by Jack C. Harris. That's right. Luther's in this issue.

Get right to the spoiler, right? It's on the first page, so it's not a big deal. Remember last

issue, a shadowy figure showed up with Copperhead demanding to take charge of the secret

society. Guess who it is? Yes, that's right. It's Luther. We see Luther in a sinister citadel

telling the wizard, telling Funky Flashman, he's taking over.

Funky goes right to selling the goods to Luther, say, of course, Luther being a genius,

recognize the value of this organization.

Luther says telling him to shut up.

He's here.

He doesn't need be sold to anything.

Funky tries to give him a cigar.

Luther being an ardent anti-smoker

crushes the cigar. Power move. I do that whenever anyone offers me a cigar when I'm gathered

in a meeting of equals, they hand it to me, and then I snap it in two and hand it back to them.

The wizard wants to know how he can help Luther as the leader of the secret society,

which Luther brings up Luther.

Luther brings up the point that, no, wizard's not in charge.
