He screwed up something. Darkside's going to forget about for a moment, but he may have a chance to redeem himself in the war for Earth death. That's what Darkside's calling. I don't think anybody else really knows

He's trying to brand it.

It's like when they name a winter storm something.

This is the war for Earth death.

No, Darkside goes on to explain the plot so far to Calabecke.

He's always sort of worked on Earth through intergang.

That's his secret strike force.

And they're effective, but as he says, insufficient.

So he wanted to fund a new group.

And the first person he hired, the Manhunter turned out to be a good guy.
