Welcome back for Justice League of America number 221 the December 1983 issue entitled Beasts.

We opened this issue with a rather expensive-looking sedan, pulling up to a suspicious-looking building.

We have a chauffeur with a mask on. We have rich people with masks on.

This is some sort of exclusive club that caters the entertainment of the rich and idol.

And what did the rich and idol like to do? They like to watch creepy stuff while wearing masks.

The masks make it more interesting. They brought into this building, taking up through a rather nice-looking elevator,

to a Roman Coliseum-esque room where they

smell human sweat and stamped on earth. We then see these rich, creepy people watch something happen.

We don't see what's happening, but one of the women gets extremely excited, demanding someone

gore someone else with horns, and then we have a strange pseudo strange pseudo sexual scene of a bunch of blood getting splurtered under her in her low-cut dress

very creepy but a nice setup for this adventure we then cut to wonder woman and

Superman getting the jump on some high-tech villains who have just robbed Star Labs in Metropolis, Star Labs,

constantly getting robbed. The interesting part of this is that Wonder Woman and Superman come

across as real dicks. They watched this Robbie. Their plan was to follow these guys back to their

headquarters, but the cloud cover broke so they saw them, so then they

swoop into arrest him.

And it's just a weird Superman, where he sort of taunts them about wrecking their boat and

they're floating in the water.

It sort of almost sounds bullish.

I mean, he says things like, oh my, now look what I've done. I've broken their little boat,
