Tom versus the Flash number 320 or at long last, our long nightmare is over.

Welcome back for the Flash number 320, the April 1983 issue featuring a cover pencil by Ed Hannigan, inked by Dick Giordano, with the issue being edited by Ernie Collin.

Our first story is The Final Purge. That's right. The end of the eradicator. It is like a purge. Like a great vomiting forth. A silly storyline. You know, I did come to love it after all this time together. Written by curivates, pencils by Carmine Infantino, inked by Rodin Rodriguez, lettered by Philip Felix, colored by

Carl Gafford, we begin lower east side of central city where all the hobos move when the warehouse

district burned down. They're all there. People avoid that area of town, but still the traditional

mirror and glass section of town where you go to get mirrors and you go to get glass. Still a bunch

of stores in her. We see a scarlet-clad

figure. Looks like the flash moving quick, but not super fast, and with grim resolve. It could be

because Fiona's been kidnapped. He loves Fiona Webb, but she's been kidnapped with the Eradicator.

That would make anyone grim and resolved. It gets up to the Marvel mirror and glass

Emporium. I'm just adding the

important. Snaps the handle right off the door. Now, you found out about this place from a tipster.

And it's the last words the tipster ever spoke, so he's pretty sure it's true. Now, what did he

hear from this tipster? What's the clue that he got? Well, we see about an hour later, after the

door handle's been ripped off,

the Mirrmaster and a couple of henchmen are walking towards this mirror emporium.

They just got done with a big heist. Miramaster's talking about how totally sweet he is,

and without him, they wouldn't have been able to pull it off, and that's why he gets 80% of the stolen money. But he's cautious because he notices that the door handle has been broken off. And it catches him off guard. So he blasts the door open with one of his mirrors. Peaks in. What does he see? The flash caught up in some of his paralysis mirrors. He set him up almost like a spider web within the mirror and point. if someone walked in, they get caught up on it, he's hanging in the air, he's paralyzed, it's amazing. His two henchmen are pretty amazed. They finally caught the flesh. Mirrormaster is very surprised because he, not even he thought that his trap would work on the flesh. The flash has always been so quick to get out of his traps before,

that it was kind of wishful thinking that this would work. Well, one of the henchmen says it's time to unmask the flash. He claims he's going to be the first to see what's under that mask. I'm sorry, but Mick Rory saw what was under that mask. Mirror Master tells Dodd the henchman to go right ahead. goes to grab grab the mask, and then something very unusual happens. His body melts into dust and just powder and he just disintegrates. All of a sudden, the Flash's costume rips apart. It's the Eradicator. Radicator disguising himself as the Flash was hiding inside the Mirror Masters' his lair. He got the info from the tipster and then killed him.

See, now the rogues are the target of the eradicator. The eradicator's got your normal criminals on the run through time. Now it's time to take on the rogues gallery. The other henchman tries to take off the eradicator destroys him. Now, Mirrormaster isn't quite worried at first, but he's got lots of tricks.

So he's breaking out his mirror guns and different mirrors.

He's blasting erad eradicator with different energy waves and lights, but it's not having any effect. It's just bouncing right off the eradicator. He seems to be impervious to everything. He's absorbing it. We see the front window of the mirror and glass Emporium blow open glass going everywhere. Mirrormaster starting to panic from the word balloons that he can't get rid of the Eradicator. The Eradicator is going to go after him. We see Miramaster jump out the window, close in tatters. How did that happen? I guess they're exploding mirrors everywhere. It's lunacy inside. Miramaster knows he's got to get away to save his life. Eradicator calls him a coward.
