Some interesting things come up with Ernie, but we'll get to that as it happens. Our story today is The Eradicator Strikes again, written by Carrie Bates, penciled by Carmine Infantino, inked by Rodin Rodriguez, Ben Oda, the letter, Gene D'Angelo, the colors should we begin, an assassin's costume fluttering down the side of a building, and a very important building, because in the penthouse lives Creed Phillips, very powerful state senator. Last issue, some assassins tried to take him out. The Flash captured two. The third one who was hiding was killed by the eradicator who threw him off the side of the building and turned his body into dust. Oh, eradicator. Flash sees the fluttering assassin's costume, kind of pieces together, something's going on on the roof. The Flash is a bright guy, runs up the side of the building, grabs the costume, taking it back that the body has become dust, that doesn't usually happen, gets up to the roof, written in big letters painted right on the roof, the Eradicator strikes again, the Eradicator likes to leave a calling card. He wants everyone to know when he has transferred someone

into soap bubbles or into dust. This kind of pisses the flash off. The flash isn't into capital

punishment as far as we now. These criminals need to be brought to justice, which means they go

1:23.7

in front of a jury, and they get put in jail in jail and they escape and the flash captures them again

1:28.1

no one has the right to go around and kill these people flash is not down with vigilante justice next day

central city police headquarters barry allen's heading up to the police lab patty spivit runs into him saying

1:38.5

that the flash dropped off a box earlier that contained the remains of a murder suspect. Barry holds up the box. He's got it.

1:46.9

It surprises Patty. She was confused by what was going on because how could a body fit inside a box?

1:52.8

A dozen donuts couldn't fit in that box. Patty's making maybe a bit of a copse and donuts reference

there. Well, Barry cracks the box open and of course it's just the ashes, the flash gathered, or the dust that came from the inside the costume when the eradicator threw him off the side of the building. Flash really ran around and grabbed all of it, which is a nice move. And I like the fact that the Flash dropped it off, and Barry Allen picked it up at Central City Police Station. So they got a piece together what's happened. It's obviously the eradicator struck again. But how? How is he doing it? What's going on? We cut to an airplane airplane we've seen before flying over Central City. A couple of fat cats, but one guy's really fat. Another guy is obviously his, you know, lesser fat lieutenant. It's the criminal overlords that ordered the assassination of Creed Phillips.

2:37.0

They apparently spend all their time just flying over Central City in a very garish plane.

2:41.4

I would say if you're looking for criminals, look to the plane flying over the city constantly,

2:46.5

constantly circling. In fact, circling right over the building where the Eradicator strikes,

2:50.6

again, is written on top. Maintenance hasn't gotten to cleaning it up yet. The roof is the least

2:56.0

of their priorities. So it's a nice message to the criminal leaders. Mugsy Malone is the big

3:01.7

fat guy inside the plane. The crooks are lamenting. The Flash has always been a pain in the ass, but he has been occupied with the rogues a lot. Now there's this new guy, the eradicator, who's killing people. They need to come up with a new plan. This is just all bad news. We see the planes are going to come in for a landing. We see a figure standing in the runway where the criminals are going to land their plane finally.

3:24.7

A man with gold boots and gold legs, his entire body is made out of gold and he's just standing

on the runway.
