We begin this issue with the flash plummeting down to the center of the earth. Remember last

0:31.1

issue, reverse flash? Professor Zoom tricked to the Flash to a race. The Flash couldn't

0:35.9

win. Flash got worn out. Professor Zoom threw some Gravatron boots on the Flash. They tripled their weight every 20th of a second. In fact, they've been so heavy now. They've become so heavy that normal matter is starting to act like liquid around it. So the Flash just sinking into the earth. Professor Zoom got in a quick jab at the end saying, oh, it's too bad that you're going, because I could tell you what happened to Iris. But since you can't do anything about it, I'm not going to say anything. Flash plummeting down the Earth. Professor Zoom, of course, hoping the Flash is going to be incinerated by the molten core of the Earth. So we see a couple of parents, the Flash heading down, getting heavier and heavier, staying calm as possible, because he's got to think of a way out of this. You can't vibrate out of the boots because the boots are so dense, so you can't pass this molecules through it. Luckily, his protective aura traps some oxygen in there with him so he can breathe for a few minutes, and he's able to make the rest of his body intangible enough that the heat is passing through, but he can't keep this up forever. We see the flash arrive at the core of the earth, eyes close, concentrating to maintain his vibration so the heat passes through him. And luckily it seems that he's got a bit of a plan going from. You see, Professor Zoom obviously made these boots thinking that the flash would burn up

1:44.9

once it got to the core so the boots while they're able to withstand all the heat on the way down

1:48.4

doesn't look like they can withstand the heat of the actual core and so the boots start to melt

1:53.2

molecular structure changes enough that the flash is able to vibrate his way out of him

1:57.7

promise the flash has got his eyes closed. He's getting tired.

2:02.2

He can't really control where he's going, but he's keeping himself intangible enough for the heat not to affect him.

2:07.5

So it's all up to luck at this point. Well, we see the flash start to catch a ride on some hot magma that's rushing out of the core.

2:15.7

So I'm impressed by the fact that the flash is able to control himself well enough that he's still being affected by the flow of magma that's rushing out of the core. So I'm impressed by the fact that the flash is able to control

2:18.9

himself well enough that he's still being affected by the flow of magma. He's moving faster and

2:22.7

faster, at least his eyes aren't open, waiting to see if he arrives at the surface. And just as the

2:28.3

flash is about to run out of strength, bam, he emerges from the crust of the earth,

2:33.6

exploding out of an underwater volcano.

2:36.3

The plan turned out perfectly. Boots melted. He escaped, just as his lungs are about to burst.

2:41.1

We see the flash bursting out of the water, running at super speed on the ocean, somewhere in the

2:45.9

South Pacific. He's got to get back to Zoom to try and, of course, bringing back to the prison in the future. And Professor Zoom has opened up a new avenue of Barry's thoughts of what's going on, just as Barry's running across the ocean, Gostry runs across him, Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, has been tracking him down using his Justice League communicator. Want to know if Barry needed any help. It's nice to have friends that can fly around Barry. He's like, I got some leads on what's going on. If they fall through, I'm going to come and get your help. But can you give me a lift out of this water? So, of course, Halel creates a big green energy chair flying the flash back to mainland. Flash runs back to his home. Apparently, he's deprioritized stopping Professor Zoom. Professor Zoom's gone down the list of things do. He's got to his home. Apparently, he's deprioritized, uh, stopping Professor Zoom. Professor Zoom's gone down the list of things to do. He's got to get home. A bolt of inspiration from Professor Zoom. They know what happened to Iris in the future. It's obvious. In fact, it's so obvious. Barry really should have thought of this beforehand. He's been in the future using his cosmic treadmill. He's going to program it for the 21st century. He's going to go in the future himself to find out what happened to Iris. I'm sure I just come back and take care of Zoom at any point. So, Barry hops. Well, the flash hops on the cosmic treadmill, starts running. He's getting excited thinking he's going to find the killer. He's going to track him down. We travel the 25th century. A nice couple out on a date
