Welcome back for the Flash number 240, the March 1976 issue featuring a cover by Ernie Chan

Collision Course with Disaster, written by

Carrie Bates, penciled by Irv Novick, inked by Tex Blaisdell. We begin in the typical suburban home

of the Allen's. Iris laying on the couch. Book? I don't know what kind of book she reads. She seems

like a non-fiction reader sitting talking to someone off panel.

It's her husband Barry, and Wally happens to be there as well.

And she is complaining about Stacey Conwell, the college student that's living with them.

She's an A student, but she's been having a lot of problems lately.

She's been sullen, hanging out by herself.

Everyone knows every college student wants to hang out with the weird, seemingly

boring, middle-aged couple that they're living with.

I mean, it's outrageous that Stacey wouldn't want to play bridge with the Barry and Iris

and their friends and Ralph and Sue.

She doesn't know their superheroes in their spare time.

Stacey won't even talk to Wally, who is a charming, a charming boy.

Well, Iris is talking all about this.

She gets a little frustrated.

We see, as the panel sort of expands, that it is Flash and Kid Flash while she's

having this conversation with them are doing super speed exercises which make them invisible.

Flash for some reason is doing push-ups at super speed, which is if I was having a conversation
