Welcome back for the Flash number 200.

The September 1970 issue, a special event Flash story entitled Count 200 and Die, written by Robert

Kanigr, penciled by Irv Novick, inked by Murphy Anderson, featuring a cover

penciled by Carmine and Fantino, with a crying flash on the cover, which I don't like, inked by

Murphy Anderson, edited by Julie Schwartz.

That's a 200th issue, and the only real thing goes on.

There's lots of mentions of the number 200 all throughout the issue.

Otherwise, pretty standard Robert Kanigar's story, which means it's a little crazy.

We start with Washington, D.C. tanks lined up outside the Capitol for no apparent reason.

And a flash zooming past him happens to be the 200th armored

artillery. Why is he running past him so fast? He bolts through the White House, past the infantry,

past the guard. The White House have guards that look like that? It's like this, like a beef eater

costume mask. Flash runs through the White House,

through the door, vibrating right through the door

that has a office of the president right above it,

as I'm sure the White House actually does,

runs in, comes up behind the president,

pulls out a laser gun,

and blast him through the back of the head.

But at this moment, we see that it's not the real president.
