Welcome back for the Flash number 199, the December 1969 issue entitled Captain Cold

blows his cool, written by John Broome, penciled by Rossinger, inked by Mike Esposito, edited by

Julie Schwartz, and featuring a cover penciled by Carmine Infantino, and inked by Murphy Anderson.

Captain Cole is back and guess what? It, of course, involves women.

We start the Central Street Penitentiary, where the Lumber's gone off.

Some old convicts have escaped, five of old elderly criminals.

The guys that just kind of let roam around picking garbage up on the side.

Well, they're old, but everyone freaks up as they all grab rifles.

They're all driving out to look for them.

We were in clean up detail now. They've made a out to look for them. We were in cleanup detail

now they've made a break for it. As these giant troop carriers with cops and them going through

the countryside, they run across a surveying team. Asking if they've seen what's been going on

and they're like, oh, no, we haven't seen anything. Cops keep driving.

Something unusual happens.

The survey team starts acting rather odd.

All the guys are celebrating, saying how they look 40 years younger.

These are the old guys who ran away from cleanup detail outside of the prison.

But now they're young, and it seems that the leader of the survey team, quote-unquote survey team, had something to do with it.

He's giving him a mirror. They're all looking at each other. One of them refers himself as pretty boy Lloyd again.

They get to start to get suspicious, of course, because who is this guy that gave him back their youth? What does he want from them?
