Because we see that she is at a high school auditorium reporting on a science fair. Not a lot of stuff going on in Central City when the picture news sends one of their top reporters to check out kids who have made miniature planetariums.

And Iris is having doubts, too.

She's wondering why her editor sent her here.

Looking at a miniature planetarium, everyone's clapping, how nice.

She's sort of distracted.

But then Tommy Davis gets up to show off his invention for the science fire, which is a weather

Simple enough.

But whoa, he predicts snow, which causes everyone in the crowd to start laughing at the young

It's Jew and he can't snow.

And as we've seen in other comics, Central City audiences just love to rip on

the people on stage. They're merciless. They're like Philly fans, like Philadelphia sports fans.

I can see Central City audience like throwing batteries at Santa Claus. Tommy Davis defends his

machine and says it's going to happen, it's going to snow.
