Tom versus the Flash number 137 or I also like to celebrate with a new outfit.

Welcome back for the Flash number 137, the June 163 issue entitled Vengeance of the immortal villain, written by Gardner Fox, penciled by Carmen Anfantino and inked by Jokeylla, edited by Julie Schwartz, featuring a cover penciled by Carmen and Fantino and inked by Murphy Anderson. The Justice Society appeared in this issue. In fact, this is sort of the beginning of D.C.'s big commitment to the whole parallel Earth's idea. Washington, D.C., Earth 1, we see strange lights over the city. We see that the strange lights seem to be causing

all the power to go out. All the engines in the city go off. Cars aren't working. Flashlights

aren't working. Generals in the Pentagon are losing their shit. They can't figure out why the power

is going out. The media, the 24-hour news cycle on Earth 1 is having a fit. The radio is talking

about the fact that multiple cities all over the world are

being affected by these strange lights. We see Iris Allen, Iris West explaining to Barry Allen

that these lights have struck in Washington, D.C., in Calvin City, in Gotham City. This list of

cities sort of rings a bell in Barry's mind, but he can't quite

figure out what it is. He offers to walk Iris home, drops her off, heads back to his place,

and I begin to question the type of neighborhood that Perry lives in, or at least the neighborhood

in between Barry's place and irises, because he's walking down the street there's a place called loan which i assume is either

loan sharks or some type of sketchy payday loan system we have a dance club called smoke with a woman

on the front of it so i know what those kind of places are barry gets back to his place when it hits

him like a lightning bolt he knows why that list of city seems familiar runs to his place when it hits him like a lightning bolt. He knows why that list of

cities seems familiar. He runs into his place. Cracks open one of his old comic books, remember? Barry

Allen is a comic book collector. Cracks open All-Star Comics number 37 with the Injustice Society

on the cover. The list of cities struck by the lights are cities where justice society members lived.

The Adam lived in Calvin City. Wonder Woman lived in Washington, D.C., Green Lantern lived in Gotham City.

It's a lead. He decides he's going to go to Earth 2 to see if there's any sort of time between

these lights and something going on in Earth 2, so since that's where the Justice Society is.

And he knows Jay Garrick, so he's going to go there and check it up.
