We start the local TV studio, Newsgirl, Iris West, is preparing to be on a very boring

public affairs television show.

It's probably like Sunday 10 a.m. trying to fulfill its public service FCC requirements for that time.

Very, very boring. Probably going to be very, very dry.

And she's fretting, but Barry's telling her, listen, you're very attractive, which she is.

Guys watching TV on a Sunday morning who aren't watching NFL pregame stuff,

they're probably just going to look at the pretty girl and not really be concerned with what you say.

So that comforts her slightly. It comforts her slightly, but she does notice that Barry frowns when she pulls out her compact to apply her makeup.

And she starts misreading that. You know how girls will read anything you do, overread it, analyze it.

I just said girls as if there's no girls to listen to this show.

I don't know if any girls do listen to this show,

unless their boyfriends are forcing them to.
