Welcome back for the Flash number 112, the May 1960 issue featuring a cover penciled by

Carmine Infantino and inked by Joe Giella. We got the same team working on both stories.

Our first story is The Mystery of the Elongated Man.

That's right.

The introduction of one of our favorite stretchable heroes ralph dibney the elongated man we

open with the flash running through central city after having just performed at a charity performance

something that the flash does quite often he sees a kitten falling from a ledge and the flash being the flash

he's one central city's man of the year

a few times. He knows what to do when he sees a cat falling. He's going to grab it. So using

his super speedies run up to grab it when all of a sudden, bam, some guy stretches over

her shoulder and grabs the cat saving it. Interesting. It wasn't just a guy reaching over, his whole body stretched

over the flash. And not only that, but the media all seemed to be near where this kitten was falling,

including Iris West, Barry Allen the Flash's girlfriend, who is immediately intrigued with this new

hero, who goes by the name of the

elongated man he can stretch himself to fantastic lengths barry uh berry gets a little jealous actually

he's weirded up by the fact that everyone seems to be paying a town of

attention to the elongate man we seen him back at his apartment rifling through old newspapers

looking at all the stories about elongated elongated man's heroics how he's stealing the flash's thunder
