Tom versus the Brave and the Bold Number 50 or Superman Light meets Batman Light?

Welcome back for the Brave and the Bold Number 50, the October, November, 1963 issue,

featuring a cover by George Rousseau.

And our story for today is Wanted, the Capsule Master, written by Bob Annie, with art by

George Rousseauce.

And the issue being edited by Murray Boltonoff.

And that's right, we've entered the superhero team-up phase of the Brave and the Bold.

There's some metamorpho stories coming up, but besides that,

it's all superhero team-ups, and it's not Batman exclusive for a little while.

So, for instance, in this issue, we have the Green Arrow and the Manhunter from Mars,

or a Martian Manhunter, if you know him more personally, or John Jones,

if you know him really well, which Green Arrow is going to do. So we got these guys team up.

We have Batman Light meets Superman Light. I mean, they met previously, but they really work

together on this one. We get a little taste of what makes Bob Haney comics so interesting

is he does not give a good goddamn about continuity, about anything else going on.

Doesn't not give a fuck. We'll ignore it. Totally ignore it. This way they made a whole parallel earth just for

Bob Haney stories. Earth B for Bob. We're just doing more brave and the bold. We'll get to

the ones. It's just like, wait, how does this work in the continuity? I don't understand. Not that
