Tom versus the Brave and the Bold number 37 or this is one hostile work environment?

Welcome back for the Brave and the Bold number 37, the August, September 1961 issue, feature cover penciled by

Ross Andrew, inked by Mike Esposito, and our two stories for today, both written by Robert

Kanigur, penciled by Ross Andrew, inked by Mike Esposito, with the whole issue being edited

by Robert Kanegger. That's right, We're dealing with some Task Force X, some

Surrage Suicide Squad up in here. It's been a while since I've done a Robert

Conniger comic, and I love Robert Cannigar comics, and this lives up to it. A first story is

Raid of the Dinosaurs. We begin, as we see the various members of Task Force X, you know, doing like their day jobs, right?

And thinking about how being in the suicide squad is much more exciting.

You know, we begin with Rick Flagg, Captain Rick Flagg, inside a rocket playing on a testing grounds.

The plane's being ripped apart by G forces.

He's about to be ejected from the plane, and his seat is flying through the air.

He's just casually thinking about how boring this is compared to the missions he used to go on with the suicide squad.

Just bored by this.

We go to a laboratory where Dr. Evans and his assistant Jess Bright are experimenting with

newly discovered elements when, you know, there's explosions.

Flames are going over.

They're talking to each other about how boring this is compared to their top secret missions

on the suicide squad.

And then we cut to our last member of Task Force X,

Karen Grace, who's busy painting in her studio,

just casually painting, not thinking about what's going on.
