This, of course, is the second part of the five-part crossover of the Justice League,

Justice Society and All-Star Squadron.

I started to cover this All-Star Squadron

issue because I think it's important enough to the story that you really got to cover it if we're

going to do the Justice League story. But the next issue, it doesn't make as much sense if you don't

get this sort of background to the story. Where we left off last issue, Justice Society,

some ended up on Earth Prime, which is our Earth,

or the Earth that the DC Riders lived on, devastated by a nuclear war at some point in the past.

1982, it's ruins. Justice League went to Earth 2, 1982, found that it was being ruled by Perdegaton and something had changed in

history. They went back in time to 1942 where they ran into the All-Star Squadron. This issue

is told really more from the point of view of the All-Star Squadron, but we get to see some of the

reasons of why Perdegaton's doing what he's doing, how the crime

syndicate, who is in last issue, fit into it.
