The Doom Hunters, which is a great name

for a story. Also, great cover.

A Batman ghost.

It's pretty sweet. Our story, The Doom Hunters,

is written by Jack Miller,

featuring art by Ramona Freighton.

We begin on a yacht.

I think that's a liberal use of the term. It's more of a,

it's a well-appointed boat. It is called the daredevil, and it is captained by what looks

like some type of party dude. He looks like he, he's got aviator sunglasses, like a captain's hat

and a suit, but it kind of looks like he bought it specifically to have a party on this boat.

This guy, who goes by the name of Welke, is making a strange request of Aquaman.

It seems that Welke is in charge of a daredevil's club, which is a club where men do dangerous things as part of some sort of treasure

hunting game, you know, where they're trying to find markers, and it's always in dangerous

places, and he wants Aquaman to help him out by planting the markers in the most dangerous

sea areas. Aquaman, he is too busy to just help this dude out with his dangerous hide-and-seek or capture the flag or whatever bullshit kids game.

These grown men of money are playing.

He doesn't have time for that.

He has to endlessly patrol the seas in case of rogue waves or modern pirates.
