And our Aquaman story is The Creature King of the Sea.

Written by Jack Miller with art by Nick Carty, we begin, fathoms below the surface,

Aquaman and Aquilette collecting rare coral for a museum.

They've gotten a bag, they're on their way back, it's terribly exciting,

where they run across a skin diver waving for help, man in a tiny bathing suit skin exposed scuba gear

on foot trapped under a rock who knows what's going on but he's running out of oxygen aquaman and

aquilad go to work but he's really stuck in that rock and it's going to take a couple minutes for him

to get him loose and he's almost completely out of oxygen aqu Aquaman comes up with a plan. A giant devil ray is nearby. He orders

the devil ray to go to the surface, form itself into the shape of an inverted bell, jump out of the

water, trap air underneath its massive fins. And then Aquaman pushes it down.

Though I would say the strength necessary to sort of push a giant bubble of air trapped under a devil ray.

It's probably the same amount would take from just to pulverize that rock that the guy's foot was trapped under.

But this is like a thousand times cooler, so we're just going to roll with it.

He brings the oxygen bubble down. The scindiver

is able to breathe. Aquaman and Aqualette are able to free his feet. Finally, they're bringing

him up to the surface under a tiny island made out of coral, just a little one out in the middle of the

sea asking this guy what's going on. He introduces himself as Jed Combs, and he was hoping to

run into Aquaman. Foot trapped under a coral.

Come on. That's obvious. Dude is looking for Aquaman to help him. See, Jed's after a treasure chest

that an ancient wizard was supposed to have hidden in this coral reef. Aquaman doesn't ask what
