Welcome back for Aquaman in the Brave and the Bold number 51, the December, January, 1963 issue featuring a cover by Howard Purcell with issue being edited by Murray Boltonoff and our Aquaman story,

Let's just get right into it.

We begin in the depths of the ocean, Atlantis.

The sunken continent, the ancestral home of Aquaman

and Aquilat, we see a couple strolling around the outer reaches of the city by the glastum

that protects the city from the ocean. There's still water inside of it. We'll get to that in a

second when this couple notices something horrifying.

An angry-looking narwhal.

You know, those whales with the tusks at the edge of their head.

At first, they think it might be curious, but he has a scowl on his face, and he makes a charge right at the dome protecting Atlantis, smashing a hole in it, poking a hole.

And he says, ramming, ramming, ramming the glass dome, poking many holes in it, causing jet

streams of highly pressurized water to come streaming into the city.

Which makes me, why does Atlantis exist at a different pressure than the bottom of the ocean?
