Our Aquaman story is The Interplanetary Mission, written by Robert Bernstein, featuring

art by Ramona Frayden.

We begin Aquaman and Aquilad and Topo, who has seemed to have lost his name in Billing.

And these stories, quite sadly, are performing a strange rescue.

It seems that a freighter carrying a bunch of zoo animals, that's a big trade, boats back and forth

carrying zoo animals.

It broke up in the ocean, and instead of drowning, like, would usually happen to these zoo animals,

there are wooden crates letting them float.

So there's all these crazy zoo animals like rhinos and tigers and gorillas floating in wooden cages

out in the middle of the ocean. Now Aquilad and Aquaman have been able to help them. They're

going to bring it into port. We got Topo, of course, lassoing cages. That's, he does the real grunt work

while the glory boys take the credit. Well, no, Aqualad's lassoing.

It looks like Topo's handing out ropes.

So he's taking it easy.

Well, how are they going to get these wooden cages back to shore?

Well, Aquaman's called upon two of his whale friends.

He leans heavily upon the whales.

And I certainly hope the whales are properly compensated

for the amount of work they have to do, because they're dragging all of these zoo animals to the
