With the issue being edited by Mort Wisinger, and our Aquaman story is Wanted, Aquacrook, written by Otto Binder with art by Ramona Freidon.

Just yet another story preying on our innate fear of Aquaman.

We want to turn on him.

We do.

We want to turn on Aquaman so badly.

We can't wait for him to do awful things so we think

that we can finally just turn on. But it always turns out Aquaman. He's the good guy. That's what

always happens. But there's awful lot of stories where he's got to lie to everyone and do bad stuff

and everyone's just ready to get rid of him. And guess what? Wanted Aquacro Quirk?

Kind of goes the exact same way.

We begin.

A coastal rocket base where the army is launching guided missiles to be test fired out into the ocean

because that's where you just shoot stuff when you want it to blow up.

Again, this is the same army that a couple stories ago was just shooting missiles in the space to blow them up.

Let's just shoot them into the ocean to blow them up. So as they're firing off in the ocean. They're all pretty calm as they warned all the ships to stay out of the targeted area. So there shouldn't be any problems. These missiles shouldn't hit anything. problem is there is someone in that area who doesn't have a radio that they haven't been able to get in touch with. It's Aquaman who's just kind of trolling around on top of Topo, looking for a barnacle gang of smugglers. When guess what happens? A missile hits him in the head. Killing him? No, it just sort of like clunk before it hits the water and doesn't detonate. So I guess they were done missiles, but it does hit Aquaman in the head hard enough.

him in that. Hard enough just to knock him completely out. And Topo apparently doesn't do anything

about it because he next go to the limp form of Aquaman washing his shore. Topo took off. This

was his chance. He was like, oh, he just kind of like shoved Akaman a couple times, realized he'd get blamed for the death and just on the lamb. He assumed the Lopo's name. Rented an apartment. It all worked out fine. Well, what, Aquaman's not dead. He's just been knocked out. He's washed ashore and guess who finds him?
