We begin South Pacific Aquaman on patrol as the caption says,

Astride is many-legged steed, Topo.

Topos not just like a horse.

And the way Aquaman's riding him is creepy.

I don't know how many octopus you've seen just sort of like skimming the surface.

I don't think octopuses are sort of set up so that you could stand on their tentacles

while they're doing this, but that's what Aquaman's doing.

And they've gone, you know, from pal, the psychic to now just, from Pat to just steed.

Just a form of transportation for Aquaman.

So while Aquaman is riding Topo through the South Pacific, they see an accident happen.

A man on a boat gets his foot caught in the rope of an anchor as the anchor is going overboard, dragging the suited man over the edge into the water.

Aquaman knows that he's got to save him because the rope's hopelessly tangled around him.

Aquaman can't reach him in time, but luckily, there's a cutlass fish that happens nearby.
