I am Tom Shattuck.

And my last job, my last job, my program director said, Tom, why are you shouting the phone numbers at the very beginning of the show?

And I said, because Howie Car does.

the ratings book for me, I was in Connecticut, got great, and I beat the NPR station and things

were wonderful. This is last year at this time. Last year at this time, things were going

wonderful. And I was, like I said, counting the NPR station was all I ever wanted to do. That was really it for me.

Things were going wonderful. George Soros bought the company. And then it was time to talk about my

contracts. And so they said, all right, Tom, we're doing a Zoom meeting. Me and the program

director. So I got on the Zoom meeting and there were a lot of people on the Zoom meeting. And

it wasn't just

me and the program director, and whacked. That was it. That was it for me, but I had a good run, and at the end of the day, it means that I can be here in sitting in for Howie.
