Bruce, we have gone a little bit between episodes for various scheduling reasons.

Now that we are back, the playoff is almost here and we're definitely going to talk about it.

But there was obviously huge news in the football world on Tuesday.

John Madden passed away at the age of 85, just days after Fox ran this great documentary about him and you had the great instinct to get a guest on today

that everybody knows tom rinaldi who was one of the producers of that documentary this is a

project tom has worked on for the for the past year and so we had gotten a taste of it at our

fox off site for college football and NFL back in early August.

And I remember just getting really excited to see what they showed us.

And the documentary first aired on Christmas Day.

And obviously, a couple of days later, John Madden unexpectedly passes away.

And so I thought who better to have on it to kind of to put it all into context than Tom,

who obviously our audience knows well from his time, you know, immersed in college football.

Now he's doing college football and everything else at Fox.

But we appreciate Tom for joining us.

To me, this is where it all starts.

You see, you know, a seven-man sled.

It's the greatest game in the world.
