Hey everybody, it's Chris and today I am with Dr. Tom Moorcroft.

And Dr. Tom is an osteopathic physician and he specializes in Lyme disease, tick-borne, co-infections, mold illness,

as well as kids with infection-induced autoimmune encephalitis, pans and pandas.

And, you know, these are topics that I have not really interviewed anyone on, and I'm really

excited to get into this because Lyme disease is incredibly debilitating, and there's a lot of of conflicting information online and I know it's really

difficult for folks with Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses. I had a good friend that had

Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever to actually find solutions. So Dr. Tom, thanks for taking the time to do

this. I'm really excited to learn from you.

I think it's going to be a great conversation.

And like you said, I mean, it's sort of under-recognized and it is another one of these epidemics that's out there.

And as long as we can get the information out, the people always happy to serve and help alleviate some suffering whenever we can.

That's great.

So how did you get into osteopathic medicine?

You know, osteopathic medicine was kind of like follow your heart.

I said I knew that medical school was going to be a bit challenging, at least that's what people had told me to be a little hard.

And I said, well, I didn't know the difference between an MD or DO, except for the fact

that one guy I knew and I had done some work for teaching wilderness medicine was like an

exceptional human being.

And he was a different attitude than most doctors I knew.

And so I said, I'll check out the school he goes to and a few others.

And I basically was interviewing at different places that had a lot of outdoor activities, you know, because I figured
