I think I need to continue to be honest with the president.

And that honesty is in places of disagreement.

I've spoken to him directly about how I think of ICE as a cruel agency that does nothing

to serve the interests of public safety.

And I've spoken about how I think that ICE should be abolished.

We should have an immigration system that has humanity at the heart of it.

And also, the president, he is a New Yorker.

In that first meeting, as much as we were having a conversation as the mayor and the president,

we were also having a conversation as two New Yorkers, even at one point talking about community

boards and zoning laws.

Oh, no.

26 federal plaza, the cruelty of ICE is not an intellectual concern to our city.

There are New Yorkers who've had their families split apart by this agency.

I get texts on a regular basis from both people that I know and those that I've never

spoken to before asking me for help.

And it speaks to the fact that this has become almost a daily

reality across our city and across our country. Tom Holman, the border side, love this guy,

Doing all right, getting ready, hop on a plane and head out west. Heading out west. Okay, I like that. So what do you think when you hear this mayor who once spit in your base when you're just eating an apple? When he talks about how cool ice is and, you know, how inhumane ice is and ice should be abolished, what are you thinking? I just? I just think he's getting dumber by the day.

I mean, bottom line is, you know, I pulled the numbers the other day.

You know, he talks about ice separating families.

Well, if you're illegally in the United States, you're going to go home and your family can go with you.
