You were always more technologically advanced than my good self. But now I've learned how to do it too.

I'm so pleased that we know how to do all this. Can you remember when we started all those years ago? I didn't even know what Zoom was. Well, I know. It's been tricky. So hopefully with all the technical difficulties, we've learned enough to pull this show off today. Fingers crossed. Pulled it off. Pulled it off with a little bit of glue and spit today,

but nevertheless, we have pulled it off, I think. Let's not jinx it. Let's jump in. What time is it,

my friends, it is tea time. Big story at the top of the show. So Tom Hanks's daughter, her name is

E.A. Hanks has written a heartbreaking book about her life. It's a memoir, but let's be honest here,

the reason this book is getting all the attention and potentially a big publisher is that E.A.'s

Dad is Tom Hanks. Now, she talks about her parents' early divorce and describes growing up in a really dysfunctional family.

I've got to be clear here.

I read the book and Tom is not a villain, but he's also not a hero.

Sources tell me the book does not want to attack Tom, but it does want to show the honesty and how messy those early years were. This was before he was famous. They

were struggling. There wasn't enough money. Tom is saddened by the book. Friends told me that he

is not denying a word of it. He's not calling his daughter a liar. But he just wishes that she

hadn't put this out in the world. He loves his

daughter. But this one is, quote, a hard one to swallow. I was thinking about this and writing a book

about your family. If somebody in my family became that famous, and if I wrote a book and I

included them, is that fair? It's still my story. So I guess you can tell your own story here. But it's so complicated. We spoke about it recently with Prince Harry's book. That's Harry's story. I believe every word of it, at least through his eyes. The other royals would probably disagree. But this one makes me just a little bit sad.
