Following the documentary, The Housewife and the Hustler, we thought it would be helpful to revisit the Girardi cases and answer some outstanding legal questions. We took a list of the top questions we’ve received and answered them in a two-part case update. This first part discusses the timeline of events up through January 2021 and answers when we think Erika first learned of the cases, if a divorce can protect assets and what spousal privilege, freezing assets, and conservatorships are.
