As for the headlines last week, how about the sad story of Richard Sherman, which really is a continuation of the disappointing developments with the Legion of Boom in Seattle.

Once one of the most famous and feared secondaries that we've ever seen in the NFL,

you take a look at what's happened to that particular group of players, and it's hard to

imagine what's become of them.

How about former Pro Bowl cornerback Brandon Browner, a member of the Legion of Doom,

an undrafted player who was signed by Seattle out of the Canadian Football League?

He is now in San Quentin State Prison in California.

He is in the beginning stages of an eight-year sentence for attempted murder

and two misdemeanor counts of child cruelty. How about Earl Thomas in the way that his career

in Seattle ended with him giving the finger to Pete Carroll before he wound up signing with

Baltimore, where he wound up being cut for conduct detrimental to the team

after he got into a fight with the Raven Safety, Chuck Clark,

during a training camp practice in late August a year ago before there were issues

where essentially in January, this past year,
