Before we get the podcast started, I wanted to jump in here real quick with some news that broke after we finished recording.

On Sunday evening, J.P. Thinley of NBC Sports Washington reported that Commander's rookie running back Brian Robinson had been shot multiple times in an attempted robbery.

It was later revealed that this was a carjacking.

Robinson's injuries are thankfully believed to be non-life-threatening,

according to a variety of sources. Obviously, this is just a scary situation and horrible news for

Brian Robinson, the man, as he was set to begin a life-changing chapter at the dawn of his

rookie season. We send our thoughts and wishes for quick healing and a full recovery

to Robinson as well as the second victim who is reported to be involved in this situation.
