Welcome to Inside the Huddle, and I'm joined as ever by Jeff Rimbold.

And this week, it's a special.

It is one subject, and the subject dictated by a man who went for a walk on the beach

and decided to end his NFL career.

What a career it's been.

Of course, the announcement from Tom Brady that he is retiring again, this time for good. After 23 seasons in the NFL

and Jeff, he said one of the things I thought I took big takeaway. He said, I've had my kind

of flowery exit with emotional essays and everything. So I'm just going now. But I think the man deserves all the accolades that we

want to throw at him, even if it is his second retirement in as many in, you know, in space of

12 months. But, you know, we will never see his like again. We should be flowering him with

praise right now. I think so. And you know, he said it was his one

he used his one emotional's farewell. But you can see, Neil, and you could hear in his voice,

certainly, and you've talked to him and interviewed him multiple time. He was emotional. There was no

way of hiding it. And I thought Julian

Edelman's tweet today was pure genius. He said, I'm only allowed one emotional farewell to you,

my friend. But, you know, so I think there, everybody that, you know, has was a fan of Tom Brady, no new Tom Brady,

played with Tom Brady, even the casual fans and the haters, got to be emotional today.

You know, just trying to digest it all.

He played in 10 Super Bowls.

He won seven of them.
