Summary

Tom is back in the studio today and leads the show off with the remembrance of a dear friend.

In the first hour, SKOR North's Phil Mackey on the emotion of losing a person close to you and a former Twins player's arrest, and KSTP's Chris Egert on Minnesota's controversial win over Iowa as he battles technology.

Hour #2 has Bob Sansevere share his thoughts on why the Gophers should give the pig back to Iowa and gives a State of the NFC North address ahead of the Vikings' MNF matchup.

In hour #3 Kristyn Burtt discusses FAST TV. It's an ironic name, because it's actually quite slow, what with the ads. It stands for Free Ad-Supported Television TV. So technically it stands for Free Ad-Supported Television Television. Yeah, they're going to need to work on that acronym.

On the Family Alan Roach lends a voice which may be familiar to many of our listeners. He's announced the Minnesota Vikings, Colorado Avalanche and Rapids, and the Madden NFL games since 2021. He and Costaki, despite having livelihoods tied directly to football, are not shy about talking about their teams' shortcomings.
