I'm a broadcasting out of Kichi-Joji.

The bombiest part of Japan.

It's very windy.

It's lovely.

It feels like the almost spring, that time period where it's winter, but the Ume blossoms have

just started to come out and the air has like a laced cinnamon smell to it.

Whenever we come home from any bike ride, right at the edge of our driveway,

our neighbor's garden kind of peaks over and creeps into it.

And you just stop there and you just get a huge full whiff of that cinnamon scent from the Ume trees.

It's just, it's such a lovely time of year here in Japan.

I never knew that umme blossoms or cherry

had a smell. Um, I have to say, I do think I prefer the umay blossom. I think that they

smell sweeter. Yep. Probably because a plum is technically sweeter than a cherry, don't you think.

What? I don't know. Why do you ask me these questions? What kind of question? I'm bamboozled, like sour cherries versus like a sweet plum or a sour plum and a sweet cherry.

Okay, that's not the topic for today.
