Summary

Join me for a 30, 45, 60 minute run with 2-4 strides. We start with a check in with our body and mind, check in with our five senses, and then a conversation.

In this episode, I talk through a difficulty I have been working through in my life, and talk about the awkwardness of social media sharing when someone sees you doing it.

Part meditation, part run, all Tina. Would love for you to join me.

Thank you to UCAN for sponsoring this episode. I have used UCAN for many years now, and now we are back in summer, I am loving UCAN protein powder in my smoothies and simply in milk post run. I also take UCAN energy on my trail runs and long runs. By purchasing UCAN you also support me in these podcasts. You can use code TINAUCAN for 20% off everything on their website

0:12.9

it. And I know you are loving it. Your screenshots make me so happy that all not even screenshots.

0:20.2

You're sharing your photos. They're just, it's just so cool for me to see. So keep those

0:24.4

coming, keep tagging me in social media posts. It's just wonderful to see. And today we are

0:29.1

going to have a 30, 45 and a 60 minute option. You're actually here. I'm going to decide that

0:36.5

during the run today. So you can join me for either of those. Thank you so much. And let's get on with it.

0:42.9

Good morning, friends. We are here for another Together Run. I am just going to do a regular

1:00.0

run today. And then I think next time we will do another workout as the response seems to be good

1:06.2

for that. I haven't heard anyone saying stick to just regular runs. So I think once a month we'll

1:11.2

do that. And then I'm not getting anyone in any trouble if you have other workouts that you should be doing.

1:17.4

Alright, so let's get going. We're going to begin in three, two, one.

1:26.5

It is a very sticky humid morning here in St. Louis. There's a hungry dog apparently.

1:36.6

Um, and actually I feel like before we get into the chicken, I want to actually talk about

1:46.1

as a dog just barks because I probably won't be able to remember it later.

1:53.3

So I've noticed that and I would love some advice here. I've noticed that Bailey is, well

2:01.0

it's saying I've noticed is a mild and a statement. Bailey is a really scared of dogs. And

2:08.1

it's like she panics if she sees a dog. And she, you know, we're working on in public, you know,

2:19.0

we go to the farmers market. There are just so many dogs around. And she now has done really well

2:29.3

if she sees a dog and she gets scared, she squeezes my hat, which feels like a good solution. And it

2:34.8

also, you know, gives us some control when it does seem to be helping. So that's good. And that

2:41.4

I really think is helping. Um, however, we, we're, whenever we are in close contact with a dog,

2:50.7

even though most dogs, and we have a lot of dogs that we see on a daily basis,
