Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi my friends, happy Monday. I'm so happy to have you here with me today and I am just

looking so forward to this particular session. I am thrilled today to have a friend with

me who has a new book coming about about one of my favorite subjects which is How to

Cultivate Friendship and Relationships. But before I introduce her before I invite

her here, many of you know that I love helping women start small groups. I love helping

women initiate to other people because loneliness has actually been a great part of my life.

I love helping that kindred spirit, finding people who actually hit the ball back. And

so I care deeply that the women in my audience have encouragement and validation and affirmation

for themselves personally as they learn to really reach out in relationship to people.

And many years ago and I don't even remember where it was but I heard somebody teaching

on the whole idea of what graciousness looks like. Graciousness by the way is a big deal

to me. And when I think about what I want to become when I grow up or at least I'm trying

to do it along the way, graciousness being gracious, learning how to cultivate people

is something I deeply value and try to give my children a value for. But if you could

take all that a person was like if it looks like it God, if you could take his righteousness,

mercy, his kindness, his generosity, his truth telling, his creativity, if he could take

all that he was and give it in the direction of a person for their benefit. In other words,

graciousness is giving everything that you have freely to the person that you want to
