To a bonus episode of the Naked Marriage Podcast just for you guys recorded in our bedroom.

At the end of the long day, but a good day.

Well, yes, it was been a good day. It's been a good day. So just to kind of catch you up to where we are, we are kind of riding high after having our first, the first exo marriage conference of 2022 at Fellowship Church in Great Vine, Texas.

And we just thought we would share some of our reflections on that.

Some of you listening probably were there and you're feel free to write us over at Instagram at Dave and Ashley Willis about your reflections because we love to hear kind of how you felt about it.

But, you know, coming off that it's like one of our favorite events of the year because the team at exo marriage and all the speakers involved that come from all around the country and people tuning in not only from all around the country, but from all around the world.

They're such a buildup, right, sweetie? Yes. And then it's it's almost like you're giving birth a little bit.

Well, I wouldn't know exactly, but well, in the sense of the excitement and like the preparation and we plan this all year, like we literally, like for example, the exo team is already planning for 2023, like they've already been having conversations.

And so, sweetie, what was your first like thought? Like when I talk about when I say exo 2022, Great Vine, what do you think of?

Awesomeness, excitement, adventure. I thought it was it was maybe the favorite event that we've ever done as an exo. And I think there's several reasons.

Number one was just after two years of kind of pandemic related event cancellations and events that had to be much smaller to have an excited full room at fellowship church over 3,000 people in attendance.

Plus many more watching with the simulcast and it just had an electric energy about it. There was a great sense of gratitude.

I think all of us on the team felt and even in the audience that we were together again. And then on top of that, the lineup was incredible.

Pastor Ed and Lisa Young and their whole team at fellowship church were incredible. I was so deeply inspired by the speakers, by the, you know, the worship by CC Winan singing by so many moments along the way.

And for Ashley and I personally, it was it was exciting to get to share from the counterfeit climax book, which is a project.

Yeah, to bring you talks about sex that we've been we've been, you know, working on this content, thinking about this content, praying about this for so long.

And now the book is out actually as we record this, it's it is launch day of the book. So, you know, we're so excited about that. If you don't have it already, please pick it up, you know, and get the hardcover ebook.

The audio book is my favorite because we got to narrate it. Actually used to make fun of the way I used to say never read.
