Today's story comes from Todd Lockerberg.

In January 2022, Todd, his wife and their three young children took a five hour flight to visit grandparents.

On their way home, halfway into the flight, his one and a half

year old son Henry started to get restless. So he's sitting in my wife's lap. I tried putting in my lap. He wasn't having it. He didn't want to sit with me.

He wanted to sit with mom. But after he would sit with mom, he'd start crying.

She tried to kind of bounce him a little bit on her lap

and he'd calm down maybe for a few seconds,

but then he'd start screaming in

and you start to get these looks from people around you,

like, come on, take care of your kid. So we're like, oh, what do we do? He's

screaming and getting worse. He's flailing, you know. And I mean, this has been going on at this point for probably like a half hour.

And all of a sudden a flight attendant, she walks up and she's like,

hey, can I take him for a minute?
