Welcome to the Well. Last winter, my co-host, Brandon and I received a call from a friend of ours.

She told us that she'd met someone at a holiday party, a guy named Todd Comernicki, and she thought he'd make a great guest on the show.

And when she told us what Todd is known for, we knew we had to have him on the show.

Or at least, we knew we had to use Todd to give a big Christmas surprise to my wife, Dara.

The reason why, you'll find out in a moment.

Hey, Todd. Great to meet you.

Todd, nice to meet you too, handsome.

Todd's a big guy, bushy beard and a meaty handshake,

and he has these, what I can only describe, as bright, clear eyes.

When you first meet him, you can just tell that he's ready to share. Nothing

to hide.

Oh, and dancing around his feet was this vibrant little girl named Remy.

Dog on the roll! Dog on the roll! It's okay, it's another dog here. Ah! There's another dog!

Remy is Todd's daughter, and as you can tell, she is no blushing flower.

You may hear her in the background playing with our dogs before she eventually gets wrapped up in the story,

but again, I'm getting ahead of myself.
