Let's talk about the apocalypse.

And here to talk about the apocalypse today is author and by the way artist Todd Hampson. Hi Todd.

Hey Gary. Good to see you today. Your book is called The Non-Prophets Guide to the book of Revelation. But you know what? It's called

the apocalypse in the Bible. And nobody really knows what that word means. They really don't.

You know, in pop culture, they think it just means destruction or war and that kind of thing. But it

really just means the unveiling you

know the unveiling of the in-time events and as you and I were talking earlier

the unveiling of the unseen realm when kind of our physical world comes in

direct contact with the unseen realm and all kinds of really crazy stuff

happens during the tribulation period so So that's kind of my take

on the apocalypse. It really just means unveiling. Book of Revelation, revelation means to reveal.

Apocalypse, same thing to reveal. But when you make an apocalyptic movie, of which, by the way,

there are many examples today. And if you think about an apocalyptic movie, of which, by the way, there are many examples today.

And if you think about an apocalyptic movie, you always think about the same thing.

Crazy sci-fi characters doing crazy sci-fi things with crazy sci-fi weapons and shooting each other, you know.

We all know what that's about.

And that's been stolen.

A term apocalyptic has been kind of stolen and given over to science fiction.

Sure.

In a way, I resent that.

Because apocalypse means unveiling.

Unvailing of what exactly?
