As Michael Lombardi had said during the Rams season, the Rams contracts brutal, not only

when it comes to Gerard Gough, but also Todd Gurley.

And so the Rams aside to bite the bullet and say, we've got to make a move here. They needed to decide

before an additional 10 and a half million of Todd Gurley's contract

became fully guaranteed a 4 o'clock Eastern. They shopped him around the

league. Nobody was interested. thus he is released and it appears

is gonna be signed with the Atlanta Falcons we'll talk about the Falcons

move in just a second Mike but first off the Rams deal for a year 57

and a half million dollar extension 2018. That was two years before his previous deal

was set to expire and LA still owes him now a 7.55 million dollar

roster bonus for this season and dead money hit of over 20 million

on the salary cap this could be one of the all-time worst signings ever right?

No doubt and let's just back up a little bit here so when Gurley came out it was funny
