| 0:00.0 | Are you familiar, Tiki, with the work of another one of my cousins, former professional wrestler Jake the Snake Roberts? |
| 0:08.4 | Oh, yeah, of course. |
| 0:09.5 | He was a great heel, man. |
| 0:12.0 | And I think what made him such a great heel in pro wrestling is that he would talk viciously about you in the comest of all voices. |
| 0:19.9 | And in a way that almost scared you even more, as opposed to screaming and yelling. Right. Last night, after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in the most inexcusable way, fashion, lost a divisional game to the Atlanta Falcons. They also got screwed by the rest, but what's neither here nor there. Well, it's a common occurrence in the NFL these days. |
| 0:37.5 | I was going to say. It makes it feel like games are fixed. I'm just saying. Wow. That was pretty harsh. I mean, when you get sacked and fumbled and the Tambay Buccaneers recover and then you get the ball back again, something's off. I understand? Just saying. It was a little shady. It was very shady. |
| 0:53.9 | With that said, the Buccaneers still lost the football. |
| 0:56.1 | Dude, they blew it. They played terrible. Just saying. It was a little shady. It was very shady. With that said, the Buccaneer still lost to football. |
| 0:56.1 | Dude, they blew it. |
| 0:56.8 | They played terribly. |
| 0:58.1 | They played terribly. |
| 0:59.1 | And Todd Balls, my former head coach as a Jet fan, decided to unleash a calm, vicious, Jake the Snake Roberts-esque promo after the game. |
| 1:09.8 | Take a listen. |
| 1:44.3 | It's inexcusable. You don't make excuses. You got to f***re enough where the shit hurts. You got to f*** care enough where the shit hurts. It's got to f***ing something to you. It's more than a job. It's your for a livelihood. How well do you know your job? How well can you do your job? Well, you can't sugarcoat that shit. It was in the excusable. And there's no answer for it. It has no excuse for it. That's what you tell them in a lot. I'm looking in the fucking mirror. Damn. Damn. Okay. Mike Kafka, take notes. |
| 1:46.0 | That's how you MF people. |
| 1:48.4 | And it's not. |
| 1:49.6 | I love this team. |
| 1:51.8 | It is like all of y'all. |
| 1:53.3 | Because y'all screwed it up. |
| 1:54.5 | Look in the damn mirror. |
| 2:00.4 | That was one of the most vicious coaching promos, if you want to call it that, that I've ever heard. |
| 3:09.0 | Wow. And it leads me to a question that inevitably should happen here on this radio station until the Giants make a decision. If a guy is on the hot seat like Kevin Stefansky or now Todd Bowles, we have to ask ourselves the question, would you hire him? And so if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers missed the playoffs, which is very much on the table, and it would be considered, at least in my eyes, a collapse. Considering the talent on this roster, considering where they are, and considering who they'd lose the division to. The Carolina Panthers. Who have played better as of late, but they're still the Panthers. Yes. They're a flawed team. So if the Buccaneers move on from Todd Bowles, do you want to hire Todd Bowles to be the next head coach of the New York Football Giants? I mean, that's an interesting question. I'd have to really think about it. My gut is no, and it's not a knock on Todd because I really like Todd Bowles, and I think he's done a great job in Tampa with some inferior rosters over the last couple of years. But, I mean, just think about this. He's won the division four years in a row. And even though some of those seasons haven't been great, one of them, at least one, maybe multiple of them were sub-500 playoff bursts, but he's gotten to the postseason, and he finds ways to win. And by the way, I think he still might find a way to win this division and |
