Yes indeed and today we toast assistant police chief James McCarthy of the New York City Police Department, aka the NYPD. Now last

Saturday James was, I know, last Saturday James was part of a group of cops that were working to disperse a crowd of protesters that were demonstrating on the Manhattan Bridge.

And video caught him reaching for his pepper spray before he unleashed a full stream of the irritant.

But instead of spraying into the crowd, James actually just hit one man directly in the face

with it and that guy immediately stopped struggling as he was now coughing profusely clawing at his eyes

exactly what you'd expect when you get hit and face with pepper spray now the good

news is believe it or not that got the police officers kind of leave the

protesters alone and they immediately rushed to

the man's aid. The bad news they rushed to his aid because our honoree James McCarthy, he

pepper sprayed James McCarthy. That's right he shot it directly into his face.

He held that bad boy backwards, went to squirt.

And keep my mind, man, typically when they fired the tear guys,

you're a couple of feet away.

He's a foot. Because that stuff is put right it's

arm's length and he presses this button man pepper spray oh yeah pepper
