Yes indeed and today we toast 27 year old Samantha Hart of Richmond Virginia.

Now Samantha has gone public with her crusade

to urge parents to really, really think about what

they name their kids, and not just the name,

but the initials, monograms, etc.

Now, you know, if your last name is Dover,

you don't name your son Ben.

If your last name is Finger Dew, you don't name your daughter Wilma,

and if your last name is McCracken, you don't name your daughter Wilma and if your last name is McCracken you don't name your son Phil

so what's wrong with our honoree's name Samantha Hart I mean honestly nothing really

until she entered the corporate world.

Now as she says a common practice of shortening names for email addresses

has led to her missing out on job opportunities and phone calls from her own HR department

demanding that she changed it even though they're the ones that gave it to her.
