Today we want to toast 70 year old Steve Poole.

Most of you probably remember for being on Como since 1974,

1977 technically.

Here's the thing about him.

He passed on November 21st from early on site of Alzheimer's.

I guess that is something he's been battling privacy, but like a lot of people, it's not something

you're trying to make public. But as far as being a broadcaster, I like this.

So he was an intern, 1974, okay?

He goes to Como as an intern.

He still at U-Dow.

He gets hired full-time three years later,

as soon as he graduates from you,

and believe it or not, I was not here in Seattle for this before he

covered weather, he covered sports and hard news.
