Yes indeed and today we toasted Murrieta Police Department of Murrieta California.

First a statement from Murrieta PD.

On January 1st, a new law went into effect that restricts the how and when law enforcement

agencies in California shares suspect photos and mug shots.

The new laws assembly now prohibits law enforcement from sharing suspect photos for

nonviolent crimes and less specified circumstances exist.

Additionally, the new law requires agencies to remove suspect mug shots from social media

after 14 days, again, unless special circumstances exist. The Marietta Police Department

prides the stuff blah blah blah blah blah. The only reason they put out this

statement is because a lot of people in California were not aware of this law

but the police department was still post people's mug shots.

The difference in the mug shots that they post now is that all of the mug shots include the person's

body, but all the heads are covered with LEGO heads.

So listen, if you get a chance to look at the picture, it's like the LEGO movies,

they cover your face, and they put the logo heads.
