We left our garage door up at one time, like went to the grocery store. We came back, the entire garage was full of tumbleweeds. It's really not a big deal. I don't know what's going on in Kentucky. This year is going to be bad. You have to remember, the East Coast normally does not get hit with wildfires.

Sometimes in the southeast, they'll get them.

But with the wind, with the dry, with the lack of snowpack, with all those other things, those things are the worst thing. They're just tender out there. To be possibly be around your home. Absolutely. They are. You just grab them, just throw them in the compost bin? Like, what do you do with the doggone thing?

You put them in the burn pile out back? You can, but you might start a brush fire. Yeah, right. Honestly, you just pull them out of your garage and just let the wind blow them away again. Let someone else do. Actually, my mother, I'm not making this up. So we moved away from Colorado in 1978 or 1979.

She still has this one tumbleweed that she has moved for the last, what, 45, 50 years, whatever it is? Because it was a massive one that blew to the house and when we left Colorado, we didn't live anywhere where tumbleweeds were a thing. Right. So if you visit their house, and oddly enough, now they live in New Mexico or the tumbleweeds every goddamn wear.

But if you go to their house, there's this tumbleweed that's like 50 years old that she's like, and it gets smaller every time they move because they're so brittle. Sure. But still has it. I got unreasonably excited the first time I ever saw one. I grew out here in western Washington. We don't get them out here at all. A handful of trips out there out on 90s.
