As usual, we head to see Drink, Dan Skan, Steve, to throw a hill to find out who we're toasted.

Yes indeed, and today we toast Mr. Ken Wilson of somewhere in California.

Now impressively, Ken has lived in the same apartment for 18 years.

And as best we can tell, he's good with his money, or the least he's very aware of his spending.

Case in point, he always kept an eye on his electric use.

Eave about a device to track how many watts his appliances give off, so he can track his

daily energy consumption, down to the exact number.

I actually have a friend who does the exact same thing.

Damn.

And it just said it's been amazing for him how much money he saves.

Anyway, Ken was trying to keep his costs down, but cutting back didn't seem to change his bill.

He eventually called his utility company, PGE, and they sent out a worker, and that worker did confirm it was a problem.

Turns out his apartment for the last 18 years was linked to the wrong meter.

So he'd been paying for other people's bills for the last 18 years.

PGE, they did apologize for quote, any inconvenience.
