And today we toast 32-year-old Hector D. Velasquez Maldonado of Chesterfield County, Virginia.

So with the holidays now in full swing, people are feeling pressure to buy gifts.

And if you're less fortunate, well, that can be super stressful.

And that's apparently what motivated our honoree to try to steal $1,400 worth of merchandise from Walmart.

Now, he's not the first and or the only person to make that attempt, but maybe pick a

different day.

You see, when you park your car in front of 30 to 40 marked police cars in the parking

lot, if that doesn't deter you, maybe don't walk in and see 50 officers in uniform inside a Walmart.

But no, Hector, that doesn't stop him.

Instead, he tried to shoplift during the annual shop with the cop event where the officers

help children pick out presents.

Well, Walmart employees saw them trying to steal stuff.

The cops apprehended them quickly because, again,

there were 50 of them. And again, I want to point out, they're in uniform. There's nothing
