Today we toast Mr. Corey Harris of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Corey was the defendant in a case involving him driving on a suspended license.

Now, he was out on bail, but he had a quarter appearance scheduled.

He could not make it in person, so the judge did allow him to attend via Zoom, and he did, and

he showed up right on time.

So so far, so good.

It's a simple matter. But the judge noticed that Harris was wearing a

seat belt and that the vehicle he was in was clearly in motion. So the judge

it was a little bit astonished and then asked Harris,

hey man are you actually driving right now?

Now this guy Harris not the brightest bulb on the chandelier of life

he responded quote,

actually I'm pulling into my doctor's office, just give me one second.
