| 0:39.1 | Well, thank you, Miles. |
| 0:40.0 | New research has found that feeding babies peanuts has helped thousands avoid allergies. |
| 0:45.0 | Haven't we been saying that for years? |
| 0:46.9 | For the most part, like, you know, just... |
| 0:48.6 | I mean, I'm not saying do it, but it was something you're worried about. |
| 0:51.1 | Like, it makes sense. |
| 0:52.4 | I mean, you are saying doing it at the end of the day, like just, you got to figure it out at some point. My thing would be like if you're feeding your baby's peanuts, be ready to rush them to the hospital, but figure it out. I mean, literally, you can do like runny peanut butter, just like baby food. Just use creamy peanut butter. There you go. So if they can't chew, they don't have any teeth or whatever. |
| 1:11.1 | Yeah, I'm not going to get my peanut. |
| 1:12.2 | Choking on a peanut. |
| 1:13.1 | But the thing is, they've also said that it has helped them avoid the allergies. So that's where I want to go with that is how do we know that they would have had the allergy? Is there some sort of gene that they found? It's not that you know, necessarily. My understanding, and keep in mind, it is not big. |
| 1:26.9 | I only played a doctor on TV. |
| 1:28.4 | Of course. |
| 1:28.9 | But something about the... |
| 1:30.3 | There's something in peanuts, right? We know that. But there was something that I had read. They're like, look, the kids, like, first two years of their life, like, if they're going to have that allergy, I guess it will solidify itself by about two years old. But if you were to give them peanuts or peanut butter or whatever the case might be, their body makes an adjustment to understand. So by the time they hit two or whatever, when they actively start chewing and eating food, they probably won't have they out. Again, don't quote me to that, but that's the basic idea. Like, exposed it to them in the first two years of life and you can... It's like chicken pox. |
| 2:01.4 | You get it? |
| 2:01.9 | You're done. |
| 2:02.9 | Most of the time. |
| 2:03.4 | Got it. That's why my kids get stung by bees, right? They didn't cry about it now. Six months old. Throw me to a bee's nest. Side note, why do we have bodies that protect us from peanuts? Peanuts are not a big threat. Why is your reaction? |
| 2:14.3 | Kill him! |
